A very successful Centenary Dinner was held on the 6th June 2009. Speakers were 1966 & 1967 Premiership Coach Bob Hammond, 1970 Premiership Coach Frank Hackett, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004 Premiership Captain Jamie McNamara & 2007, 2008 Premiership Coach Don Depalma. The new Catholic Bishop of Port Pirie Greg O'Kelly also spoke of his great interest in football.
Current Sydney Swans footballer was interviewed by Brenton Willson and gave some insight into his life at Sydney. Brenton also interviewed Peter Murphy, Bob Hammond, Tom Keain, Hugh Murphy, John Pasculli, Des Parker, Geof Keane and Marlene Murphy. All these people gave a wonderful insight on Port.
