The Port Oval hosted the McGrath Foundation Pink Stumps Day on Saturday 11th February 2012. South Port Cricket Club ran a very successful day raising a significant amount of money. Congratulations to them on an outstanding effort.
South Port and Wandearah played for the Lee Matters Memorial Cup which is held when the Clubs play against each other for the first time each season. The previous three games between South Port and Wandearah had been washed out.
