Umpire Protection

The Spencer Gulf Football League will be implementing an umpire protection policy in 2013.
Spectators will not be permitted inside the centre square at the quarter time and three quarter time breaks. Umpires will be escorted off the oval at half time and after the game by representatives of the league, umpires and the home Club as listed on the program. These same representatives will monitor access to the centre square during breaks. Signage will be placed on the oval at breaks to remind spectators that there is no access to the centre square.
