Producing a sound that has been
described as honest, Lily and the Drum like to keep their live performances
authentic without tricky vocal pitch correctors or computers working in the
background. Despite this, a feature of their live shows is the full sound that
the duo achieves and this has earned them a strong following around the
country.
Vocalist and guitarist Lily unites with John (Drum) on percussion, harmonica
and backing vocals to provide something a little different. Their music
can be described as “Contemporary Retro Rock, Blues and Roots with a dash of
Rockabilly played with a burning passion”
In 2012 they released their debut album “Nobody Just Like Me” and began touring
throughout Victoria, NSW and SA. To date the duo has performed in excess of 300
shows and have had 2 Albums inthe
Top 25 Most Played Albums Australian Roots and Blues Airplay Chart. They also
play some great classic songs from some of their favourite artists.
