Port Netball Club won the 2009 A1 Port Pirie Netball Premiership played before a packed John Pirie High School stadium on Saturday the 5th September 2009. In an exciting game the young Port side snatched a vicory by the barest of margins.

The team consisted of Ellen Pole, Chloe Willersdorf, Rachel Gray, Simone Combe, Chloe Joyce, Jess Dunkley, Jenni Thomas, Hayley Combe, Hollie Joyce, Kate Lavis and coached by Deb Hayes and assistant Tricia Thoman.
