Representing Wandearah at the Country Cricket Carnival Brenton Willson had the amazing match figures of 12/8. Willson an opening bowler took 8/8 in the first innings and 4/0 in the second innings. Willson also managed to score 82. The match was against Bute on Monday 9th February 2009 with Wandearah winning outright.
Willson went on to win the prestigious Les Favell trophy for the best player of the carnival.
